Almost Goodbye

No tears are worth crying
no stars are worth falling
no dream worth not dreaming
no time worth unspent

feeling so drained, so worthless, so weary
lying in bed, eyes all but dreary
heart strings do used and so strained
feeling like nothing new was gained
broke down in tears in front of you
told myself thats what i wasn't going to do
never knew i needed you there when i cried
held it all in, hide it from you ; i tried
pressure of being so tough and so strong
fake a smile but to you it was wrong
told me not to hide it to let it out
not put myself down, and fill my heart with doubt
gave me that boost of love i needed so much
took me in your arms and healed me with just one touch
the night quickly ending and now i must go
a few last words; "I LOVE YOU SO" !
